I wore the large size with the small band and it's heaven sent. I almost gave up on finding a suit that would actually fit me in all the right places without having to sacrifice a large cup for a large band or small band for a small cup.
I love this top! It's very cute and very flattering. also comfy! I get overstimulated very easily by wristbands and this doesn't bother me at all!
My bra size is 34F, and I bought the S+. I've tried most of K&V’s tops for large cups/small bands at this point, including the underwire and banded triangle styles. This one might be my new favorite. Here’s why:
1. The supportive band keeps my boobs from sagging or slipping underneath.
2. The ruched cleavage lets me adjust the coverage to my comfort(!) Doesn’t matter if I’m at a family bbq or the beach with friends. I can show however much I want.
3. It’s flattering and comfortable. Underwire isn’t digging into me, and the fabric doesn’t compress my breasts to give me quadboob (a struggle I had with K&V’s banded triangle top).
4. Most importantly, I can do all of the things I enjoy (hiking and swimming) and even basic stuff (jumping and bending over) without worrying about a wardrobe malfunction.
In all, if you’re struggling to find a top that’s sexy/cute and comfortable, maybe give this one a shot. I bought the Capri print and liked it so much that I gave in and bought the Topanga version. Can’t wait until it arrives!
Fits like a glove and it’s adjustable!! I’m a 40DD I got the purple color in 3x and it’s very supportive. The bottoms are also extremely flattering without being the typical plus size high waist (thank you!!!). Personally I do wish the straps were thinner and that the bow was at the top instead of the bottom for tanning purposes. Additionally, it took about a month to get to me so if you’re ordering in a rush I’d be conscious of the wait time.
This is a great top, have gotten compliments on it often! The only reason not giving 5 stars is because I wish it was a tie instead of a clasp in the back. I love the other tie back tops I have from Kitty and Vibe and the clasp works just fine but the tie is so much more comfortable and customizable. For reference I usually wear a 44C or 46B in bras and got the 4XL in this bikini top.
