We threw out the traditional swim size chart. One number can’t describe both your waist and your seat, so our bottoms are sized on two:

• Hip size — XS through 6X, measured at the fullest part of your hips.
• Booty size — a 1 or a 2 in every hip size. The 1 gives less coverage, the 2 gives more, with the same fit through the waist.

So you never have to size up for coverage and end up with a waistband that slides, or size down for the waist and end up with a seat that rides.

Most swim brands fit one sample size and scale the rest of the range up and down from it — which is why bottoms so often gape at the waist or cut in at the leg. We run fittings at four stages of our range (XS–L, XL–1X, 2X–3X, 4X–6X) and adjust at each one, so these were designed for the size you actually order.
